The Saluki, also known as the Persian Greyhound, is an ancient breed that is relatively unfamiliar to the public. They were once used for hunting by Egyptian pharaohs and were even mummified alongside their masters!
Today’s Saluki is an affectionate dog, very close to its owner, and can sometimes struggle with separation. Additionally, it has a great need to expend its energy!
